Dr. Jacqueline McGrath is a Research Professor and Professor Emeritus at the UTH San Antonio, School of Nursing. Most recently, she was the Thelma and Joe Crowe Endowed Professor and Vice Dean for Faculty Excellence. Research foci include integration of family-centered and developmentally supportive caregiving with high-risk and premature infants and their families in the NICU. More specifically, her work has focused on the biobehavioral outcomes related to increasing parent engagement for both parents and their infants. She is well-known in the field for her scholarly publications, with 150+ peer-reviewed articles, 125+ editorials and short manuscripts as well more than 40+ book chapters.

Since 2014, Dr. McGrath has been the Co-Editor for Advances in Neonatal Care the journal of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. She is also the Co-Editor for Developmental Care for Newborns and Infants: A Guide for Health Professions, 3th edition, 2022. In 2007, Dr. McGrath became a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. She received the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Neonatal Nurses. As a truly excellent mentor and teacher, Dr. McGrath believes leadership is seeing the brilliance in other people and creating joy at work is central to success.

Mandy is a parent of a preterm infant, the founder of the collaborative multi-stakeholder, multi-disciplinary platform, The Irish Neonatal Health Alliance (www.inha.ie) and a EUPATI Fellow. She specialises in the areas of Advocacy, Education and Research. Her achievements in the field include collaborating on several neonatal and paediatric health system reviews and clinical audits, reviewing obstetric, neonatal and bereavement clinical guidelines, developing and delivering curricula and continued education for medical, nursing, allied health professional and patient expert students, mentoring PhD students, serving on the advisory board of the PPI Ignite Network, the European Foundation For The Care Of Newborn Infants and the NIDCAP Federation International Board and working as patient collaborator and embedded patient researcher on over 70 national and international research studies.

Mandy is a chair committee member of group that developed the European Standards of Care For Newborn health, is a public reviewer for the Irish Health Research Board and the British Medical Journal Open Pediatrics, is a member of the National Office of Research Ethics Clinical Trials Committee, works with the National Clinical Trials Office Stakeholder and Management Committee, the EMA and the Health Products Regulatory Authority of Ireland and has published papers in several journals including the British Medical Journal, The Lancet, The Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Trials.

Nadine is a Neonatal Clinical Nurse Consultant based in Australia. She has over 20 years experience working in the neonatal and pediatric critical care setting in Australia and the United Kingdom, practicing in education roles since 2007. She has received a number of awards recognizing her contribution to neonatal nursing including 2015 NSW Nursing and Midwifery Award Innovation in Education Award, Michelle Beets contribution to pediatric nursing Memorial Award 2019, and a hospital consumer appreciation award in 2020.

In 2017 she was endorsed as the first Australian NIDCAP Trainer. she established and was the inaugural chair of the Neurodevelopmental Special Interest Group for the Australian College of Neonatal Nursing. Nadine has authored several journal publications and two textbook chapters focused on developmental Care. She is the coordinator of multiple neurodevelopmental care education programs (FINE and NIDCAP) for Australia and is also a PhD candidate.
