GOLD Neonatal Conference News

We’re thrilled to be kicking off GOLD Neonatal Online Conference 2022 with a powerful Keynote webinar! Join us live on May 31 with Dr. Terri Marin, PhD, NNP-BC, FAAN, FAANP for “Physiologic Biomarkers to Detect Subclinical Acute Kidney Injury in Premature Infants”.

Free Webinar by Dr. Terri Marin

Dr. Marin is an active researcher in the Level IV NICU at Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Her work focuses on defining non-invasive methods to predict early-onset acute kidney injury in preterm infants. We’re excited to have her joining us to share her brand new insights and information on this important topic.

During this webinar, we’ll learn about the current diagnostic criteria for Acute Kidney Injury and the type of damage that has already occurred before abnormalities become apparent. We’ll also examine the physiologic mechanisms involved in renal oxygenation measurement using near-infrared spectroscopy technology, and we’ll explore the implications associated with AKI development in the preterm population.

This is a free public event, so be sure to reserve your seat and invite your colleagues to join you: https://www.goldneonatal.com/conference/speakers/keynote-presentation
