Biography:

Vanna is a paediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Cardiac Neurodevelopment and Neonatal Neurology Programs at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. She completed her master’s degree and Nurse Practitioner certificate at the University of Toronto. Her clinical and research interests focus on improving neurodevelopmental outcomes in patients with congenital heart disease (CHD). She is particularly interested in exploring the neurodevelopmental outcomes of infants with CHD born preterm and using bedside amplitude-integrated EEG to facilitate early detection of seizures and brain injury in infants in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
