Biography:

Nastassia is a registered nurse, international board certified lactation consultant and owner of Latch Breastfeeding and Lactation Services in New Jersey. Nastassia is currently finishing her doctorate in educational leadership at American Sentinel University. She completed her MSN in nursing education in 2012 from Mercy College and her BSN from the college of New Rochelle in 2004. She is also certified by NCC in maternal newborn nursing. In her 12-year nursing career, Nastassia has worked in several roles in perinatal health including staff nurse, lactation consultant, perinatal nurse educator, nursing faculty, and most recently in as a lactation consultant in private practice. Nastassia has a passion for improving maternal child health outcomes and breastfeeding rates in the African-American community. She is actively researching barriers to exclusive breastfeeding in African-American women.
